Last weekend, the newest edition of GPB’s “Georgia Traveler” premiered with a feature on Port Columbus. Port Columbus received an award for the best exhibit over $100,000 at the annual meeting of the Georgia Association of Museums and Galleries on Friday, January 23. Attending for the museum were executive director Bruce Smith, director of Education and Programs Ken Johnston and Director of Communications Jon Ezzell.

A boat and crew from Port Columbus participated in a special living history event in Charleston, SC, on January 8.
