The final large component of the USS Water Witch project, the institutional fence around the ship, is going in this week. These final phases are all funded by a generous grant from the J.W. & Ethel I. Woodruff Foundation and special help from Barnett Woodruff.

Port Columbus received an award for the best exhibit over $100,000 at the annual meeting of the Georgia Association of Museums and Galleries on Friday, January 23. Attending for the museum were executive director Bruce Smith, director of Education and Programs Ken Johnston and Director of Communications Jon Ezzell.
